Paddling Events

In 2019, CCC was proud to work with partners to create a map and website for paddlers in coastal Delaware. It’s replete with routes, ramps, seasonal information, degree of difficulty, parking availability and much more information integral to paddling in eastern Sussex County.

Every September CCC joins forces with the towns of Laurel and Milton, DE and Berlin and Snow Hill, MD to bring the Delmarva Paddling Weekend to the peninsula. Sponsored by the towns, local businesses and chambers of commerce, the more than a dozen sojourns include paddles down the Broadkill, Pocomoke, and Nanticoke rivers, Trap Pond, Chincoteague Bay, and Nassawango Creek. CCC is proud to put together this event which includes six different providers and paddlers of all skill levels in craft ranging from stand up paddle boards to kayaks and canoes.
